Pre-launch draft. The controller's final legal name and correspondence address must be inserted before public launch.
1. About Sportelier
Sportelier is a coordination platform for finding, organizing, and joining recreational sports events. Sportelier is not the organizer, venue operator, coach, medical provider, payment processor, or insurer for user-created events unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using authenticated features, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy and Cookie Policies. If you cannot legally enter this agreement, a parent or guardian must do so where permitted by applicable law.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. One person may not impersonate another, automate abusive registrations, or evade a suspension. We may require email verification and may suspend accounts to protect users or the service.
4. Events and organizers
Organizers are responsible for event descriptions, schedules, prices, venue permission, capacity, participant communication, cancellations, and reasonable safety arrangements. Participants remain responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for their health, ability, and circumstances.
5. Joining, leaving, attendance, and series
Joining reserves a place subject to the event's capacity and waitlist rules. Leave promptly if you cannot attend so another player can be promoted. Organizers may manage rosters and review attendance. Recurring series automate future event creation but do not guarantee that any event will take place.
6. Prices and external payments
Price information in Sportelier is supplied by organizers. Unless explicitly introduced as a separate feature, Sportelier does not collect or settle event payments. Any payment made outside Sportelier is an arrangement between the relevant users or venue.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Sportelier to break the law, harass or discriminate, publish dangerous or misleading events, infringe rights, distribute malware or spam, scrape protected data, probe security, manipulate capacity, or interfere with other users. Report unsafe or abusive behavior through Support.
8. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Sportelier a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it.
9. Availability and changes
The service is provided during active development and may change, experience interruptions, or contain errors. We may modify or discontinue features, but will avoid materially reducing already-paid rights if paid services are introduced.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Sportelier at any time and may request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access for material breaches, safety risks, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or threats to the service. Where reasonable, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact Support.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Sports involve inherent risks including injury, property damage, cancellations, and conduct by other people. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sportelier does not guarantee event quality, attendance, organizer identity, venue availability, or user conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Governing rules and disputes
Mandatory consumer protections and the law applicable to the final Sportelier operator remain unaffected. Please contact Support first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. The final operator identity, jurisdiction, and correspondence address must be inserted before public launch.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance where permitted; if fresh consent is legally required, we will request it.
